Orlando Simple Stroller Rental Review

What is the number one thing you need to have when taking little ones to a theme park? For us, the answer is: a stroller rental! All of that walking in the heat can really ware on the kids as well as the parents. We recently traveled to Orlando, Florida for a trip to Universal Studios. Instead of lugging our stroller through the airport, and on and off of a plane, I decided to look into other options. I stumbled across Simple Stroller Rental. Deciding which stroller you want is made easy with their website. All pricing information is spelled out for you, so there are no hidden fees or surprises.
Multiple Stroller Rental Options:
  • snap and go
  • single jogging stroller
  • double jogging stroller
  • single and double Citi
  • sit and stand
  • special needs strollers
  • *You can even rent an Ergo baby carrier for your trip!
I especially found the “comparisons” section to be helpful when choosing which stroller would fit our needs the best for this trip. Once I decided on the stroller, I was able to put in my dates and see a real time inventory tracker that let me know if it was available for those dates. I can’t tell you how relieved I was to know that I wouldn’t have to worry about getting to our hotel and then finding out the stroller wasn’t available!
Save Money On Your Stroller Rental:
Even after adding a rain cover and damage waiver, renting from Simple Stroller is a big savings. A rain cover in Orlando is a must; we used ours almost every day that we were in the park, because of those infamous summer storms. The kids were able to stay dry and comfortable (along with all of their stuff) and the stroller was protected. The damage waiver is important because it works just like insurance, and you never know what could happen during your rental period.
  • Simple Stroller: 5 day rental, rain cover, damage waiver, FREE parent console = $90
  • Park Stroller: 5 day rental, no rain cover, no damage waiver, no parent console=$117.30
Delivery of Your Stroller Rental:
We set up a window of time we wanted our stroller delivered to the hotel (if you are staying in a Disney or Universal hotel, you must be there to meet the driver). He called 15 minutes before arriving so I was able to get to the front of the hotel to meet him. I was really impressed by how clean the stroller was; after all, we are putting kids in it and everyone knows how messy they can get! He walked me through the basics of how to use the stroller: the hand break, reclining the seats, rain cover, and cup holder locations. And then we were on our way! We enjoyed using this stroller during our trip. The kids rode in it when they got tired, and were even comfortable enough to take naps on our long days!
Returning Your Stroller Rental:
Returning the stroller was just as simple as receiving it. We were able to pick a window of time and had a 15-minute call-ahead. I made sure to empty out the crumbs (that’s just the mom in me) and wheeled it out front to meet the driver. *My family and I received a complimentary rental in exchange for this review, but all opinions expressed are my own.

I found this option to be helpful too! We went to Myrtle Beach over the summer (3 times!) with my 5- and 3-year old. Broadway at the Beach offers stroller rentals for about $12–a huge help! Even though my kids are able to walk on their own, if I wanted to stay out late (past their usual bedtime) I knew they were going to be cranky and complaining. With the stroller, they could even go to sleep and we could still walk around and enjoy our evening.

That is awesome! We were out way past bedtimes several nights and it was great being able to let them sleep without having to rush back to the hotel. It also helps when you buy too much stuff to carry and need somewhere to stash it lol.
